Are you comparing your practice to your competitors all the time? It’s so unproductive, yet very easy & tempting to do.
You need to keep up with your competition – right? Quite frankly, you will often stand out much more if you do the opposite of what your competition is doing.
I recommend keeping your competition in your periphery. Meaning, notice what they are doing but don’t obsess about it & feel compelled to copy their every move. Rather, stand out in your noisy online & local communities.
One of the best ways to do this is to build a relationship with your ideal patients instead of trying to just “get your name out there” in a flashy way. For building a positive relationship is what will become your brand. In fact, what others are saying about you and your practice becomes your brand.
More on this topic in the future but for now, be sure to focus on your patients, always add value and you will build a loyal group that builds the best type of brand (with lots of referrals too).
