Are you an energy giver or an energy taker? You might think this question has nothing to do with you, but in truth, it can (and will) significantly affect not only your professional life, but your personal life as well.
As a leader in your organization/practice, your patients and staff look to you to set the tone. You don’t want to be fake, but you need to do what you can to energize & truly support those around you. In return, you will find that the energy returns to you in abundance via measurable & immeasurable ways.
This is particularly important during stressful & frustrating times. New ideas, quality care, teamwork & support occur much easier in an energized atmosphere rather than a negative one one that threatens to–pull-everyone-down!
Your energy often comes from your self-care. Are you exercising? Are you nourishing your body in the way you promote to your patients? Are you over-medicating yourself with food or alcohol? Do you take time in the morning to review your goals, set your intentions & plan your day? Do you delegate? Are your finances in order?
If low energy is a symptom you are experiencing, take the time to contemplate these questions and set a new plan into action. If you need a fresh perspective for you or your business, reach out to me!
